A man is due to appear before Newry Magistrates’ Court in the morning after a police vehicle was rammed close to the border.
The 39-year-old has been charged with dangerous driving and being unfit to drive through drink or drugs.
Two police officers were injured after the incident, which happened during the early hours of this morning (Sunday) on the Dundalk Road at Crossmaglen.
The police vehicle has been taken off the road for repairs.
