Police in Portadown are appealing for information following an assault in the Loughgall Road area.
Constable Aaron McKenna, Portadown Response, outlined the details of the incident: “A 25 year old man was walking past the filling station on Loughgall Road, around 3am on Sunday, 21 September, with a friend when he heard people approach from behind. The man turned round and was hit with a bottle on the side of the head. He fell to the ground where he was further assaulted, possibly by four males.
“The man sustained injuries to his head, face and arm which required medical attention.
