Detectives in Lurgan are appealing for information following an armed robbery at commercial premises in the West Street/Atkinson Avenue area of Portadown yesterday, Sunday, January 5.
At approximately 5.30pm a male with a foreign accent entered the premises brandishing a knife. He demanded money and put his hand in the till and stole a sum of money. He then made off on foot.
The male is described as being tall, slim build and wearing a light grey hoodie and faded black scarf.
No one was injured during this incident.
Detectives would ask anyone who noticed any suspicious activity or who has any information to contact them at Lurgan on 0845 600 8000.
