Car damaged as police seek information on Markethill hit and run

Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a driver who fled the scene of a hit-and-run in Markethill.

The incident occurred on Saturday, June 10 as the annual Armagh County Show got underway in Gosford Forest Park.

The police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or has information about the driver or the car involved, to come forward.

They left a grey coloured Porshe Panamera with damage as a result.

The vehicle is understood to have been parked opposite the Courtrooms Restaurant in the village. It is understood the damage occurred around 1.30pm.

A spokesperson for the PSNI said: “Information received is that the alleged offending vehicle was a red coloured Vauxhall. Can the witness please contact police.”
