A schoolgirl has been taken to hospital following a multi-vehicle collision close to Markethill High School this afternoon (Friday).
Emergency services, including the Air Ambulance, were tasked to the scene on the Mowhan Road shortly after 2.30pm.
Police say a car collided with two parked vehicles. A girl who had been in one of the parked cars was injured in the crash and taken to hospital for treatment. Her condition is unknown at this time.
The Mowhan Road remains closed in both directions at this time, with motorists advised to avoid the area and seek alternative routes.
