Over the course of last weekend the community enjoyed a fantastic Open Garden event as part of Markethill Community Festival.
Held on Friday and Saturday July 25 – 26, this year’s open garden was kindly hosted by Markethill couple, Dale and Lorraine at Dunesmullan Road.
Organisers and attendees even enjoyed a special visit from Lord Mayor, Alderman Stephen Moutray who stopped by for a chat.
The event raised vital funds for several charities including Evora Hospice, Motor Neurone Disease UK, Little Heroes NI and Special Olympics Swimming Club.
It received excellent support from the public who enjoyed stalls from local suppliers, live music and refreshments.
