Three Markethill siblings have honoured their late father’s memory with a charity skydive raising £6,645 for Evora Hospice.
It is 25 years since Adrian (Adie) Coulter passed away after being diagnosed with cancer.
His children, Lee, Stefan and Charmaine, wanted to do something to mark that anniversary and raise money too.
The three signed up for the Evora Hospice Skydive and have now handed over the proceeds of their combined efforts.
Dad Adie passed away on July 11, 2001, with the anniversary, according to Lee, “a milestone that feels just as significant now as it did then”.
He added: “Dad was only 32 years old when he passed, a scarily young age, even more so now that us, his children, have bypassed or will soon hit that age.
“To honour his memory and celebrate the life he lived, we decided to do something that would have made him smile -and probably laugh at us too! We took on a skydive.
Charmaine takes to the skies.
“We decided to raise money for our local Evora Hospice, an incredible place that supports families in their hardest moments, providing the compassion, dignity, kindness and care that everyone deserves during those final moments.
“Good or bad, we truly never know what tomorrow has in store.
“By supporting this cause, you are ensuring others will receive the same love, care and support when they are in their time of need.
“No matter how many years have passed, our dad’s memory will always live on through us.”

The fundraising team at Evora Hospice were delighted to welcome the Coulter family for their fantastic cheque presentation.
James McCaffrey, Senior Fundraising Executive, said “We were delighted to have Lee, Charmaine and Stefan up to our Hospice for their cheque photo.
“We commend their bravery and appreciate their very kind words about our Hospice.
“We are so thankful for the amazing total they raised – as they said, this will help provide care and compassion to patients and their families.”
