A black Hyundai car may be have been involved in a spate of burglaries in Co Armagh on Saturday afternoon.
The car, along with four men, were spotted in the Markethill area following two separate burglaries in the area.
A PSNI spokesperson said: “Sadly, it’s bad news. Burglars have struck in our patch again. Another pair, this time in Markethill.
“These happened between 4pm and 6pm yesterday. The houses were ransacked in both instances but nothing of great value taken.

“Thanks to some astute neighbours, we believe a black Hyundai i40 was involved.
“There may have been up to four males on board, and we believe it then headed south via Newtownhamilton where other burglaries occurred, before crossing the border.
“If you saw the i40 and can give any description of who was on board, or any more info about the break ins, please call Detective D in Lurgan CID who would love to hear from you. The incident number is 1157 of 25/11/17.
“Folks we really need to get into the habit of being nosey neighbours. Nosey neighbours can not just solve burglaries, but prevent them.
“If you see a vehicle you don’t recognise in the area that’s hanging around neighbours houses, at very least make a note of the registration and who is on board.
“If your suspicions are aroused beyond that, phone us on 101 and we can check it out. It’s better to find a vehicle is all regular than get news like this after the fact.
