Two people have been taken to hospital following a serious two-vehicle collision on the Markethill Road this morning (Friday).
The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service (NIAS) received a 999 call at 8.40am following reports of a collision close to the junction with the Mullaghbrack Road.
NIAS despatched two emergency crews to the scene.
A NIAS spokesperson told Armagh I: “Following assessment and initial treatment at the scene, one patient was taken
to Craigavon Area Hospital by ambulance and one was taken to Daisy Hill Hospital in Newry by ambulance.”
Their injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
Police are appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time and witnessed the collision, or has dash cam footage, to contact 101, quoting reference number 301 of 03/09/21.
The road was not closed to traffic at the time.
