Detectives are appealing for information following a robbery at a service station in Portadown.
Shortly before 9pm last night a masked man entered the shop on the Dobbin Road and demanded money. He brandished a bag suggesting it contained a weapon.
A sum of money was handed over and the male fled.
Detective Constable Paul Murphy said: βThe robber is described as in his 30s, 5β 10β tall, slim build with dark hair. He was wearing a dark baseball cap, black fleece, dark blue jeans and dark gloves.
“I am appealing for anyone with information or who may have seen this male in the area last night to get in touch with detectives in Lurgan by calling the non-emergency number 101.
“I would like to make a particular appeal to a female jogger who passed by the forecourt of the service station just minutes before the robbery. She was running from the Portadown direction towards Armagh and it is possible she may have seen something that could assist the investigation. We are keen to hear from her or anyone else who was in the area at the time.
