All three men arrested in connection to a shooting in a Newry industrial estate have been released pending further enquiries.
Two men arrested on Monday have now both been released; the third – a 27-year-old man – released late last night.
Police were called to the Carnbane Industrial Park, in the Springhill Road area of the town, at around midday last Tuesday, February 8 following reports that a man was shot in the legs
The victim was rushed to hospital for treatment.
A getaway car was later found burned out on the Old Dublin Road as the perpetrators made off across the border.
The investigation is ongoing and detectives continue to appeal to anyone with any information or dashcam footage in relation to the incident, to contact them at Ardmore Station on 101, quoting reference number 679 08/02/22.
