Police in Newtownhamilton are appealing for witnesses after criminal damage was caused to a white Ford Transit van.
Tools were also stolen from the van, which was parked in a car park on the Forkhill Road, Newry, immediately off the Forkhill Roundabout.
Constable Jon McDonald said: “It is understood that the criminal damage and theft occurred sometime between 9am and 4.15pm on Tuesday 6 September.
“We are appealing for anyone who might have information which may assist the investigation to contact police at Newtownhamilton police station on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference number 872 of 06/09/16.
“Or, if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
