Emergency services rushed to the scene of a serious two-vehicle collision this evening (Tuesday).
Fire crews, police and ambulance crews were aided by the Air Ambulance following the incident on the Armagh Road outside Newry around 7pm.
Motorists have been advised that, due to a severity of the crash, the road – between Jockeys Brea and Church Road – is closed.
Please avoid the area and seek alternative route whilst emergency services deal with the incident.
Diversions are in place towards Kidds Road and Old Armagh Road, Newry.
