An arrest warrant has been issued for a man accused of assaulting an ambulance worker, after he failed to attend court.
Stephen Bradley – of an address in Ballycurrin Park West, Dublin – was due to appeared before Newry Magistrates’ Court to face charges of assault and disorderly behaviour at Daisy Hill Hospital on July 17, 2026.
Defence counsel for the 34-year-0ld man informed the court that he had already enquired for his client’s whereabouts that morning but he did not seem to be present in court.
Deputy District Judge Kennedy also noted that Bradley had been connected in his absence on August 14.
An arrest warrant was then issued by the judge.
The case will now adjourn pending Bradley’s arrest.
