A woman’s body was recovered from the water in Warrenpoint on Monday afternoon.
Police confirmed the body of a woman was taken from the water in the Osborne Promenade area of the town.
Her death is not being treated as suspicious at this time.
The Coastguard and Ambulance Service were in attendance.
The nature of the woman’s death has not been disclosed.
