A Newry community has ben left angry after the mindless destruction of a local play park.
Newry City Sinn Fein Councillor Charlie Casey has expressed his disgust and disappointment at the vandalism of the children’s play area in Lisgullion Park.
“I have reported to Council the damage done at the Lisgullion Play Park,” he said.
“This is hugely disappointing coming on the back of the very positive community event held there last week.
“Many within the local community are rightly angry at this senseless act of vandalism.”
