The funeral of well-known Co Armagh singer and entertainer, Rose-Marie Kane, will take place on Thursday.
The 68-year-old passed away suddenly at her home in Blackpool on June 5.
Ms Kane, who grew up on a farm just outside Newry, had been living in her adopted home for many years and was due to host an evening of music and entertainment at the Joe Longthorne Theatre in the seaside town at the end of June.
Rose-Marie, who visited Northern Ireland regularly, will make one final journey home where she will be laid to rest.

A funeral notice described her as the beloved daughter of Ann and the late Owen Kane, as well as the loving sister of Anne, Madeleine, Danny, Geraldine and the late Kathleen, R.I.P.
Rose-Marie’s remains will be removed from McGennity’s Funeral Home, 18 Forkhill Road, Cloughoge, Newry BT35 8LZ tomorrow evening (Wednesday, June 19) at 5.30pm, to arrive at The Church of the Sacred Heart, Cloughoge BT35 8QT at 6pm for overnight repose.
Requiem Mass will be celebrated at 3pm on Thursday (June 20) and will be livestreamed at Upper Killeavy Parish Online Mass. Burial afterwards in St. Michael’s cemetery, Killean, County Armagh BT35 8RR.
Very deeply regretted by her loving mother, brother, sisters, nephews, nieces, cousins, entire family circle and her many friends.
May she rest in eternal peace.
Predeceased by her father Owen and sister Kathleen, she visited home regularly and wanted to be buried back in Co Down with her family.
