Two people arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after a stabbing in Newry at the weekend have been released on bail.
Police were called shortly after 6am on Sunday, September 6, to reports of an altercation at a property in the Woodhill area of the city.
A man with stab wounds was found inside the house.
A man and a woman, both in their 30s, were arrested at the time on suspicion of attempted murder and taken into custody for questioning.
The PSNI has now confirmed that both have been released on bail to allow for further enquiries.
Detectives are continuing to investigate the incident and have appealed for anyone who was in the area at the time, or who may have information that could help, to contact police on 101 quoting reference 340 of 06/09/26.
