A man has been arrested by detectives investigating a road traffic collision almost 15 years ago.
As a result of the crash on June 29, 2010 two police officers sustained serious injuries
The man, aged 36, has been charged with dangerous driving causing grievous bodily injury.
He is due to appear at Newry Magistrates’ Court on Friday, January 10.
As is usual procedure, the charge will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service
At the time, it was reported that two officers were hit by a lorry when they went to inspect a set of warehouse garages near Meigh just before 1pm.
