Detectives investigating a robbery at a casino in the Monaghan Street area of Newry on Sunday have charged a 28-year-old man.
He is charged with robbery, possession of an offensive weapon with intent to commit an indictable offence, resisting police and three counts of assault on police.
He is expected to appear before Newry Magistrates Court on tomorrow (Wednesday), April 30.
As is usual procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
