A man was taken to hospital by ambulance following an early morning “medical incident” at Newry’s Merchants Quay.
The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service (NIAS) confirmed they received a 999 call at 1.09am this morning (Wednesday) after it’s understood a man was found in a “serious condition”.
Police also attended the scene close to Bellini’s bar and restaurant.
NIAS tasked one Emergency Ambulance to the incident and following assessment and initial treatment at the scene, the patient was brought to Daisy Hill Hospital by Ambulance.
