One man and a 15-year-old boy have been charged with attempted murder following an assault in Newry last week.
The attack took place in the Cleary Crescent area of the city last Wednesday, May 29.
The 15-year-old has been charged with attempted murder, possession of an offensive weapon with intent to commit an indictable offence and possession of a Class B controlled drug.
The 24-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder, possession of an offensive weapon with intent to commit an indictable offence and possession of a Class C controlled drug.
Both men are set to appear at Newry Magistrates’ Court this morning (Monday).
A 17-year-old male appeared at court in connection with the incident on Thursday, May 30, while a 29-year-old man has been released on bail pending further enquiries.
