Police are appealing for information and witnesses following an overnight burglary at a house in Newry.
Officers received a report shortly before 8.25pm on Saturday, March 16 that a property had been entered in the Cherrywood Grove area of the city.
Inspector Campbell said: “We believe the break in occurred sometime between 7.15pm and 7.45pm on the same evening, while the house was unoccupied for a short time.
“A rear window had been opened and damage caused to its frame. Cupboards and drawers inside the house had also been rummaged through, and a sum of money was stolen.
“We would appeal to anyone who was in the Cherrywood Grove area on Saturday evening and noticed anything suspicious, or out of the ordinary, to make contact with police on 101, quoting reference 1441 16/03/24.
“We would also be especially keen to hear from anyone who may have dash-cam, CCTV or mobile footage of area between 7.15pm and 7.45pm that we could review.”
