A body has been found in a public place in Newry.
The discovery was made last night (Monday) by membersof the public walking at Daisy Hill Wood, which overlooks the city centre.
The PSNI called in to the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Servic to help recover the remains and preserve the scene.
While investigations continue, the death is not being treated as suspicious.
Police say familly have been informed and offered their sympathies to the family.
