The PSNI helicopter has helped in the rescue of a number of walkers who had been reported missing in the Mournes.
PSNI Air Support was involved in the the search this evening.
Nighttime goggles were used successfully to locate the missing walkers.
Mourne Mountain Rescue Team then brought them to safety.
