Police in Newry are appealing for information following an incident in The Demesne on Sunday morning.
Around 10.15am police received a report of an altercation in the area involving a number of people.
Officers attended and found a 19-year-old man with a bump to his head and cut on his finger.
Further enquiries revealed that two males and a female had been observed leaving the area a short time previously.
One was said to have been bleeding from the head. He is described as being around 17 years old with blonde hair.
Police are working to ascertain the exact circumstances of this incident. They are asking the male who was seen leaving the area with bleeding to his head to contact them.
