There has been a serious collision in Newry this morning (Monday).
Road-users are advised the Carnagat Road is closed at its junctions with Springfarm Heights and Stony Hill due to what police have described as “a serious road traffic collision”.
Local diversions are in place.
It is understood a young girl – who was a pedestrian – was struck by a van at around 9.30pm on Sunday night.
