A Co Down mum has gone missing after a hen party in Carlingford this weekend.
Ruth Maguire, a 30-year-old nurse at Daisy Hill Hospital was celebrating a friend’s hen party when she went missing.
However, after going missing shortly before midnight last night, the young mother has not been heard from or seen since.
And her friends and family are growing increasingly concerned for her welfare.
Bridesmaid Katrina O’Hare, speaking to Belfast Live, said: “We thought she was going to head home to Newcastle because she had said to a bouncer she was going to get to Newcastle from here but her partner and kids were at her mum’s house in Ligoniel .
“He drove down today and she was not there. Her mobile is going straight to voicemail. It was 11.30pm last night she was last seen.
“The police in Carlingford are involved.”
Ruth is originally from Belfast but lives in Newcastle with her family where she travels to work at Daisy Hill Hospital.
