Detectives at Ardmore are appealing for information after an alleged firearms incident in Newry in the early hours of Sunday, July 1.
Detective Constable Watson said: “It was reported that at 1am a firearm was discharged in the Chequer Court area of the city.
“Anyone with information is asked to contact 101 quoting reference 115 01/07/18.
“Or, if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
