Shots were fired at a house in Newry last night (Tuesday).
Police are currently investigating the attack which happened around 9.30pm.
A number of shots were fired at the property on Drumgullion Avenue in Newry, close to the Damolly Retail Park.
A burnt out car was found at the back of St Patrick’s Primary School, a short distance away.
The separate scenes around the burnt out car and house remain cordoned off this morning.
There are also reports of a man injured in the city last night.
A spokesperson for the Southern Trust said he’s in a stable condition at Daisy Hill Hospital.
However, it remains unclear if these incidents are connected.
