Detectives are appealing for information after shots were fired at a house in a Newry housing development on Monday evening.
The incident happened in the Damolly Village area of the city at around 9.15pm yesterday (Monday), March 16.
Two shots were reported to have been fired through the window of a property.
Police say the residents, who were in the house at the time, were not physically injured but were left badly shaken.
Detective Inspector Handley said enquiries are ongoing and urged anyone with information to come forward.
“I am appealing to anyone who may have witnessed anyone suspicious or any suspicious vehicles in the area, or to anyone with CCTV, door-bell or other footage that could assist with the investigation, to contact detectives on 101 quoting 1817 16/03/26,” he said.
