Officers of the Local Policing Team in Newry had their car rammed in an attempt by suspects to evade capture.
C Section Local Policing Team in Newry last night (October 26), located two stolen vehicles on the Tandragee Road, Newry.
The young males involved decided to ram a police vehicle to initially to evade Police.
Roads Policing along with Armed Response attended the Newry area and the suspect vehicle was successful stopped on the A1 attempting to travel the wrong way down the A1 carriageway.
Thankfully the vehicle was stopped with three males detained for a multitude of Road Traffic offences.
In a separate incident, C Section had success on Saturday night (October 25) when a white Peugeot Partner made off from Police.
This vehicle turned out to be stolen and the driver was located in a ditch in the Bessbrook area, the male driver was detained and was overnight charged to appear in court this morning.
