Three men have been arrested as part of an investigation into the New IRA following searches in Newry.
Detectives from the Police Service of Northern Ireland’s Terrorism Investigation Unit have made the three arrests as part of an investigation into the activities of the New IRA.
Three men, aged 25, 27 and 58, were arrested this morning, Wednesday, September 18, following searches in the Newry area.
Items seized included two cars and a number of mobile phones.
The men were arrested under the Terrorism Act, and have been taken to Musgrave Serious Crime Suite in Belfast for questioning.
