Two men have been arrested following a burglary at a business premises in the Damolly Retail Park in Newry in the early hours of this morning, Friday, October 20.
At approximately 4.40am, a report was received that an alarm was sounding at the store.
Officers attended and discovered that a window had been smashed and access had been gained to the property.
A man aged 25 was arrested at the scene on suspicion of burglary.
A second man, aged 26 was arrested a short time later at an address in Newry, also on suspicion of burglary. Both men remain in custody at this time.
A number of items were recovered including drills and a power washer.
Anyone who may have witnessed anyone suspicious in the area at the time or anyone with CCTV or other footage that could assist with enquiries, is asked to contact police on 101 quoting reference 200 of 20/10/23.
