Detectives investigating a burglary in south Armagh on Wednesday have arrested two men.
Detectives have charged the men, aged 21 and 22, with a number of offences following the alleged incident which occurred in the Killeavy Road area.
The 21-year-old is charged with aggravated burglary with intent to commit unlawful damage.
The 22-year-old is charged with offences, including aggravated burglary, possession of an offensive weapon with intent to commit an indictable offence and assault on police.
The two are expected to appear before Newry Magistrates’ Court on Friday.
As is normal procedure, all charges are reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
