Police have charged two women with two counts of possession of class A controlled drugs and one count of possession of class A controlled drugs with intent to supply.
The pair – aged 27 nd 46 – are due to appear in Newry Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday, February 22.
As is normal procedure, the charges will be reviewed by the PPS.
The two women were arrested in the Newry area on Monday, January 30, following searches by officers from the Tactical Support Group (TSG).
