A woman was rescued after falling into a Newry quarry this afternoon.
The incident happened at a quarry on the Moor Hill Road shortly before 12.30pm.
Three fire appliances attended the incident; two from Newry Fire Station and one Specialist Rescue Appliance.
A NIFRS spokesperson told Armagh I: “Firefighters used a mule stretcher to rescue the casualty, and she was then taken into the care of Northern Ireland Ambulance Service. The incident was dealt with by 1.46pm.”
