There have been 10 further Covid-related deaths reported by the Department of Health today (Wednesday).
All of which occurred in the last 24 hours, according to the official dashboard, which has the overall total now at 740.
There were a further 679 cases reported in that timeframe, with 60 in Armagh, Banbridge and Craigavon and a further 49 in Newry, Mourne and Down.
A total of 3,213 individuals were tested.
There are 418 people now in hospital – that’s five more than Tuesday – as a result of the virus, 50 of whom are in intensive care units – a decrease of one in 24 hours. There are currently 20 ICU beds available in NI.
Seventy-one patients are in Craigavon Area Hospital today – two less than yesterday. To date, 462 patients have been discharged from the Co. Armagh hospital.
There are also 12 Covid inpatients at Lurgan Hospital and 16 in Daisy Hill – up two– in Newry.
