There have been six further Covid-related deaths reported in Northern Ireland in the last 24 hours.
Three of those deaths occurred in the ABC borough, one in Newry, Mourne and Down and one also in Mid Ulster.
According to the official dashboard, there were a further 1,687 – down 148 – positive cases reported in the last 24 hours, with 226 in Armagh, Banbridge and Craigavon – the second highest in NI. There were 124 positive cases in Newry, Mourne and Down while Mid-Ulster District recorded 122. Belfast had the highest with 280.
A total of 11,376 individuals were tested in that time.
There are 461 – down 11 – people in hospitals across Northern Ireland as a result of the virus, 43 – down one – of whom are in intensive care unit.
There are 121 – up five – Covid patients in the Southern Trust area, 86 of whom are in Craigavon Area Hospital. There are 16 patients in Daisy Hill and 17 in South Tyrone Hospital.
There are currently 23 ICU beds available in Northern Ireland.
The total number of deaths now stands at 2,444.
Hospital occupancy currently stands at 104% – a 1% decrease – of capacity.
The Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council area accounts for 332 deaths overall; Newry, Mourne and Down District accounts for 185 while Mid-Ulster has registered 230 deaths.
