There have been a further 828 Covid-19 cases reported in the last 24 hours, according to the Department of Health.
The cases come after 6,003 people were tested in the last 24 hours.
Sadly, another person has passed away from the coronavirus, with the death total up to 586.
The total number of cases in the last seven days is now up to 4,417.
Hospital admissions have also increased from 85 to 106 – that’s 42 patients admitted in the last two days.
There are now 14 people in intensive care units across Northern Ireland.
The rate per 100,000 in each borough continues to increase, with the figure now up to 136.2 in Armagh, Banbridge and Craigavon – one of the lowest in Northern Ireland.
In neighbouring Newry, Morne and Down, that figure sits at 338 per 100,000 people.
Meanwhile, Economy Minister Diane Dodds said a circuit breaker lockdown will only be “viable” if extra financial support is provided from Westminster.
Speaking to BBC Radio Ulster’s Good Morning Ulster programme, Ms Dodds, said: “We need to see our national government in London step up and offer help across the United Kingdom to make sure unemployment does not increase and that we are supporting jobs and people through this.”
She added that the furlough scheme, set to end later this month, needs to be extended to to save job in Northern Ireland.
