There have been five further Covid-related deaths reported in Northern Ireland in the latest 24 hours.
The total number of deaths now stands at 3,165 – 18 of which occurred in the last seven days, according to the Department of Health’s daily dashboard.
The Armagh, Banbridge and Craigavon borough has recorded 424 deaths to date; one in the last seven days.
There have been 241 – up one – deaths in the Newry Mourne and Down district, two of which occurred in the past seven days, while Mid Ulster accounts for 299 – up one – deaths, four of those in the past seven days.
A has been a decrease in positive cases in the last 24 hours, down from 2,987 to 2,889.
There have been 18,953 positive cases in the last seven days, which continues a downward trend.
Within the past 24 hours, there were 288 positive cases in Armagh, Banbridge and Craigavon – dropping to third in the list of local government districts (behind Lisburn and Castlereagh) for the first time in weeks.
There were 217 cases in Newry, Mourne and Down while Mid Ulster recorded 215. Belfast – the highest in NI – recorded 540 positive cases.
There are 474 – down two – patients in hospitals across Northern Ireland as a result of the virus.
There are currently 149 Covid patients in Southern Trust hospitals.
There are 12 – no change – patients with Covid-19 in hospital intensive care units. There are currently 12 ICU beds available.
Hospital capacity currently sits at 107% – up1%.
