There have been one further Covid-related deaths reported in Northern Ireland in the latest 24 hours.
The total number of deaths now stands at 3,166 – 17 of which occurred in the last seven days, according to the Department of Health’s daily dashboard.
The Armagh, Banbridge and Craigavon borough has recorded 425- up one- deaths to date; two in the last seven days.
There have been 241 deaths in the Newry Mourne and Down district, two of which occurred in the past seven days, while Mid Ulster accounts for 299 deaths, four of those in the past seven days.
A has been a increase in positive cases in the last 24 hours, up from 2,889 to 3,027
There have been 18,517 positive cases in the last seven days, which continues a downward trend.
Within the past 24 hours, there were 322 positive cases in Armagh, Banbridge and Craigavon – rising back to second in the list of local government districts after dropping to third yesterday (behind Lisburn and Castlereagh) for the first time in weeks.
There were 284 cases in Newry, Mourne and Down- the third highest in NI- while Mid Ulster recorded 202. Belfast – the highest in NI – recorded 582 positive cases.
There are 443 – down 31 – patients in hospitals across Northern Ireland as a result of the virus.
There are currently 125- down 24-Covid patients in Southern Trust hospitals.
There are 11 – one less – patients with Covid-19 in hospital intensive care units. There are currently 16 ICU beds available.
Hospital capacity currently sits at 106% – down 1%.
