There have been four further Covid-related deaths reported in Northern Ireland in the past 24 hours.
The total number of deaths now stands at 2,847. There have been 34 in the last seven days.
The ABC Borough accounts for 388 fatalities. There have been 212 in the NMD district, while Mid Ulster accounts for 268.
There have been a further 1,496 positive cases recorded in the last 24 hours, according to the Department of Health’s latest daily dashboard update. There have been 11,502 in the last seven days.
There were 132 positive cases in Armagh, Banbridge and Craigavon. There were 137 cases in Newry, Mourne and Down while Mid-Ulster – the second highest in NI – recorded 161. Belfast – the highest in NI – recorded 239 positive cases.
There are 390 – up 12 – patients in hospitals across Northern Ireland as a result of the virus, 33 – down three – of whom are in intensive care units.
Currently, there are 135 – up six – Covid patients in the Southern Trust area, 96 – down one – of whom are in Craigavon Area Hospital.
There are 11 ICU beds available across Northern Ireland.
Hospital occupancy in Northern Ireland currently stands at 103%.
