There have been 15 further Covid-related deaths reported in Northern Ireland since Friday – eight in the last 24 hours.
The seven day total stands at 24 – down from 31 in the previous week.
According to the official dashboard, there were a further 1,031 positive cases reported in the last 24 hours with 87 in Armagh, Banbridge and Craigavon. There were 94 in Newry, Mourne and Down while Mid-Ulster District recorded 98. Belfast had 182 cases in the last 24 hours.
A total of 3,653 individuals were tested in that time.
There are 245 – an increase of 19 on Friday – people in hospitals across Northern Ireland as a result of the virus, 41 – up four – of whom are in an intensive care unit.
There are 61 – down one since Friday – Covid patients in the Southern Trust area, 49 of whom are in Craigavon Area Hospital. There are 11 patients in Daisy Hill.
There are currently 11 ICU beds available in Northern Ireland.
Hospital occupancy currently stands at 101% of capacity.
The total number of deaths now stands at 2,228.
The number of positive cases in the last seven days stands at 8,974 – up from 8,388 on the previous week.
The Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council area accounts for 297 deaths overall. Newry, Mourne and Down District accounts for 172 deaths while Mid-Ulster has registered 210 deaths.
