Fifteen more people have sadly lost their lives from Covid-19, the Department of Health has confirmed.
The total, according to the Department whose figures relate predominantly to NI hospitals, now stands at 469.
Nine of the deaths happened since Thursday, while six occurred earlier but had not been recorded straightaway.
Meanwhile, there have been Covid outbreaks in 74 care homes across Northern Ireland.
The figures also show there are 20 patients with suspected or confirmed cases of Covid-19 currently occupying ICU beds, with 33 ICU beds available.
To date, 4,317 people have tested positive for the coronavirus.
Earlier today, the Northern Ireland Statistics and Research Agency (Nisra) published figures showing that, up until May 8, a total of 599 deaths had been recorded.
