There have been four further Covid-related death reported in Northern Ireland over the past 24 hours.
One of those deaths occurred in Mid-Ulster where the total is now 248, similarly in Newry Mourne and Down District, which is up one to 198. Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough remains at 356.
There have been a further 1,349 – up 45 – cases recorded in the last 24 hours, according to the Department of Health’s latest daily dashboard update.
There were 189 positive cases in Armagh, Banbridge and Craigavon – the second highest in NI. There were 141 cases in Newry, Mourne and Down, while Mid-Ulster – the lowest in NI – recorded 71. Belfast – the highest in NI – recorded 249 positive cases.
A total of 4,307 individuals were tested in that time.
There are 348 – up three – people in hospitals across Northern Ireland as a result of the virus, 37 – down one – of whom are in intensive care units.
There are currently 83 – no change – Covid patients in the Southern Trust area, 53 – up three – of whom are in Craigavon Area Hospital. There are 12 ICU beds available across Northern Ireland.
The total number of deaths now stands at 2,610.
