Today marks the first day since March 18 where there has been zero reported deaths from Covid-19 in Northern Ireland.
The figures were announced by the Department of Health this afternoon (Tuesday).
An additional 928 tests for the virus have been carried out on a total of 687 people, which have resulted in 28 positive cases.
This brings the total number of confirmed cases to 4,637 with death toll remaining at 514.
It comes 24 hours after the Republic of Ireland also reported no further coronavirus deaths. Its total is 1,606.
Meanwhile, NI’s health minister Robin Swann has welcomed the availability of the anti-viral drug Remdesivir for treating coronavirus.
“The news that patients in Northern Ireland will have access to Remdesivir through the Early Access to Medicines Scheme (EAMS) is a positive step in the fightback against Covid-19,” said Mr Swann says.
