There has been one further Covid-related death reported by the Department of Health in Northern Ireland today (Tuesday).
That’s according to the official dashboard.
As it stands, the Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council area accounts for 285 deaths overall. Newry, Mourne and Down District accounts for 166 deaths while Mid-Ulster has registered 205 deaths.
The overall total number of deaths recorded by the Department remains at 2,148.
There were a further 89 positive cases reported in the last 24 hours with five in Armagh, Banbridge and Craigavon. There were 11 in Newry, Mourne and Down and Mid-Ulster District recorded nine in that time.
A total of 2,035 individuals were tested.
There are 56 – one less than Monday – people in hospitals across Northern Ireland as a result of the virus, three – down three – of whom are in intensive care units.
There are currently five – down one on Monday’s total – Covid patients in Craigavon Hospital – eight overall in the Southern Trust area.
There are currently 22 ICU beds available in Northern Ireland.
