There have been a further seven Covid-19 deaths reported in Northern Ireland.
The Department of Health’s latest figures show four of those deaths have occurred in the last 24 hours, with three others just outside that timeframe.
The significant jump in deaths is the largest seen since May 24.
There have been a further 863 cases reported across Northern Ireland in that timeframe; 37 of those in the Armagh, Banbridge and Craigavon borough, with 64 in the Newry, Mourne and Down district.
There are now 150 people in hospital, 23 of whom are intensive care units.
Executive Ministers are due to meet later today (Tuesday) to discuss further restrictions across the country, however, the outcome of that meeting, which is due to last for a number of hours is not expected until Wednesday.
The BBC has reported that health officials in NI are understood to have suggested tighter coronavirus measures should last four to six weeks to have the greatest impact.
