There have been a further seven Covid-related death reported in Northern Ireland in the past 24 hours.
The total number of deaths now stands at 2,776. The ABC Borough accounts for 377 – no change – fatalities.
There have been 207 deaths – no increase – in the NMD district, while Mid Ulster also saw no change leaving the area’s total at 256.
There have been a further 1,765 – up 537 – cases recorded in the last 24 hours, according to the Department of Health’s latest daily dashboard update.
There were 193 positive cases in Armagh, Banbridge and Craigavon – the third highest in NI. There were 141 cases in Newry, Mourne and Down, while Mid-Ulster recorded 150. Belfast – the highest in NI – recorded 254 positive cases.
A total of 4,262 individuals were tested in that time.
There are 404 – up nine – people in hospitals across Northern Ireland as a result of the virus, 36 – down three – of whom are in intensive care units.
There are currently 122 – up eight– Covid patients in the Southern Trust area, 97 – up four – of whom are in Craigavon Area Hospital. There are nine ICU beds available across Northern Ireland.
Hospital occupancy in Northern Ireland currently stands at 104% – down 3%.
